Vision Award Code of Ethics

So you shall now in advance just what ethic I hold myself to in regards to the awarding of one of my Vision Awards, here are my major guidelines and what you are to expect of me.

All critiques given will be constructive in nature. Criticism, unless specifically requested by an Applicant, will remain positive where possible in an effort to promote goodwill and further all our advancement in the level of quality among Internet sites.

All Applicants who meet the set Criteria of any particular award are eligible to receive that award. All sites/pages will be fairly evaluated and all awards shall be uniform as applied to each site.  These criteria are clearly posted.

If criteria changes at any time, your site you submit shall only be held to the critiques in place at the time I received your award.  You certainly can up-grade if you wish by re-submission and explaining on the submission form that you would like an upgrade.

A professional, friendly and positive manner shall be maintained in any correspondence and communication held with any Applicant/s.

I shall never discriminate on grounds of race, gender, nation of origin, religion, profession, age, mental or physical handicap.  The Vision Award was created for everyone as long as the criteria is kept.

No information about any Applicant shall be disclosed to persons, groups, or agencies.  All information received from Applicants via e-mail submissions or submission forms will be deemed private.

An initial review will be done to ensure your site is not disqualified because of illegal content as outlined in our Criteria. If your site is found to contain illegal content the evaluation will cease and be discarded.  You shall not be notified.

I shall not grant Awards to, or in any other manner endorse or promote, any web site that endorses, promotes or contains content which is considered globally to be illegal or discriminatory whether same be against human or wildlife.

I also shall not accept favors of any sort in exchange for preferential treatment of submissions. A high standard of honesty and integrity shall be maintained at all times.

I agree to evaluate all submitted sites within two (2) weeks of receipt of submission. This criteria could change based on the number of awards received. If this deadline cannot does change, it shall be posted within the Criteria page on this website.

Upon completion of review you will be notified the results. If your site has qualified for an award I will provide your personalized award at that time. You will not be contacted if your site did not qualify, but you are invited to re-apply in 60 days.

There are maximum dimensions of Awards given in courtesy of web sites that will use them. Please do not change the Awards or alter in any way.  If you want to make them smaller or larger to suit your site, feel free to do that - but that is all you can do that is accepted. (Maximum size dimensions offered from this web site are: no more than *119* pixels Height and *66* pixels Width.)

Besides the Awards Criteria, there is only 1 more requirement I ask: Any Awards granted from this web site must be linked back to this web site in a method that will be outlined in Award notification e-mails.  From time to time I shall check on this to see if you do have the award posted and linked back.  If you do  not, I shall take your name off of my winners list and you shall have to reapply to get this award back.

Above all else, the honor and integrity of the Vision Award Program shall be maintained through any and all measures necessary.
